The artist Daniel Firman and designer Christian Lacroix presented for the first time in Spain their joint work with ‘Liquid Crystal’, a sculpture fruit of their collaboration in 2004. Conceived as a ‘performance’, the work evokes in its title the substantial transformation of the original state of a body. The piece consists of an arm that emerge from nowhere, whose shape reminds us both the elegant gesture of a dancer and the movement balance of an acrobat.
El artista Daniel Firman y el diseñador Christian Lacroix presentan por primera vez en España su obra artística conjunta con ‘Liquid Cristal’, una escultura fruto de su colaboración durante 2004. Concebida como una ‘performance’, la obra evoca en su título la transformación sustancial del estado original de un cuerpo. La pieza se compone de un brazo que emerge de ningún lugar, cuya forma nos remite tanto al gesto elegante de un bailarín como al movimiento de equilibrio de un acróbata.
