Espacio Sin Título presents, for the first time, the paintwork by Julio Rey (Madrid, 1955), one of the most important graphic illustrators of the Spanish national press. His paintings are somehow expressionist. We can see the fantastic calligraphies of Cy Twombly, the energy of Basquiat or the single-coloured stroke of Tàpies, some of the references infusing his works. Until now, painting was his best-kept secret.

Espacio Sin Título presenta, por primera vez, la obra pictórica de Julio Rey (Madrid, 1955), uno de los dibujantes gráficos más importantes de la prensa nacional. Su pintura tiene algo de figuración expresionista. Encontramos las caligrafías fantásticas de Cy Twombly, la energía de Basquiat o la gestualidad monocolor de Tàpies, que son algunas de las referencias que inundan su trabajo. Hasta ahora, la pintura había sido su secreto mejor guardado.
